our story
“I founded Vetted because, as a pet parent myself, I know how overwhelming and stressful it can be to care for our furry companions. My French Bulldog, Shor, was constantly sick—vomiting, losing weight, and lethargic—and I couldn’t find a vet who could explain why. After spending a small fortune on online tests and hours searching for answers, I discovered that Shor’s issues were due to allergies, something Frenchies are prone to. Simply reducing the primary protein in his diet made a world of difference.
That experience left me wondering—what else didn’t I know about Shor? How could I help him live his healthiest and happiest life? I realized that so many of these challenges could be prevented with the right care and support.
So, I turned my frustration and curiosity into action. I spent time with veterinarians who shared that over half of ER visits could have been avoided with proactive, preventative care. That’s when I decided to create Vetted: a new and better way to care for pets, focused on catching the little things early before they become big problems.
In 2022, I opened the first Vetted Pet Health Clinic to give pets and their parents the tools and guidance they need year-round. Veterinary care has been around since the 1700s, and was designed to treat sick animals. At Vetted, we’re changing the narrative by focusing on preventative measures that help pets live longer, happier lives.”
